READ THE ANNOTATIONS. The MILD, MODERATE, SUBSTANTIAL ratings take into account the phase of the game you're buying the item in.
Some tips:
-You want to use a hit-and-run playstyle. Pocket is too squishy to stay in the middle of the enemy team for long unless very fed. Don't be afraid to retreat if you think a fight is lost.
-A typical engage starts with the Majestic Leap + Barrage Combo, then Cold Front, then Affliction, then Satchel, and then either shoot and use Cloak to get out, or use Cloak to stay in and then shoot.
-Make sure to always have a way of getting out. Getting trapped or surrounded is usually a death sentence, especially if they have Silence.
-Don't get greedy with killing troopers in the early game, as you start with negative Spirit Resist, so you can get hard punished by abilities.
-Pocket is very flexible and can adapt to pretty much every situation. This applies to their itemization as well. If you are falling behind, dying a lot, or getting frustrated, you're probably approaching things the wrong way.
-Your mindset and mental are more important than you think. Don't let yourself believe you are worse than your lane opponent or that the game is lost from the start. Miraculous comebacks are possible and happen more than you might think.
-At the same time, respect your opponents. Assume that Abrams will try to bait out parries, assume that the enemies know what items you're building, and assume that they will never let you take objectives for free.
-You are very effective at managing multiple trooper lanes, especially after getting Majestic Leap. You can become a midgame farming powerhouse if you need to.
-Don't be afraid to try out new strategies and items. This guide is not definitive, nor should it be seen as such. Experiment with items and don't be afraid to limit test.
